The Bold and the Beautiful
A playful contemporary residence designed to make a statement; Denman is a home like no other. The latest collaboration between Mazzei, Webster Architecture and Nathan Burkett Landscape Architecture is as fresh as it is bold and takes design cues from the showrooms of Milan. The striking yet understated architectural façade conceals the scale of the residence that descends over four metres of site fall. Behind the oversized timber clad front door, you can make your way left into a generous home office that opens into a decadent sitting/bar for ideal entertaining. As you walk through the main hallway to the heart of the home, you are immediately taken by the abundance of natural light and the liveliness of the interiors. An infinity edge pool hugs the full height windows that lead to the rear of the home. A central double sided Escea fireplace separates the living to the dining area and provides a stunning feature from every angle. The European inspired kitchen block is a standout and is as functional as it is stunning. The use of blue laminate against cote d’azur natural stone is a thing of beauty. Continue down the split levels and you come across a dramatic powder room finished in dark, luxurious tones and textures. Beyond is the main bedroom with large walk-in-robe and built-in bedhead.
